Sunday Funday (and a FREE book alert!)

Sunday is my favorite day to sleep in. When I finally do wake up, I usually mosey over to the Sunday Morning Book Thread, hosted by Oregon Muse, over at the Ace of Spades HQ.  There's always some interesting conservative books that get discussed there every Sunday.

Today is also a good day to check out my other favorite blog, The Crawdad Hole, where new blogger Jadzia, an American ex-pat in France, is posting her thoughts on the recent events in Paris.

Last but not least, don't miss this: FREE this weekend (including tomorrow, I believe), is To Save Us All From Ruin by James Schroeder. The blurb says it is a World War II adventure about three Colorado brothers who enlist because of Pearl Harbor. I am specially intrigued by this part of the description:
This lively tale of action and adventure is inspired by the real-life WWII diaries of a young U.S. artilleryman—Earl “EZ Dog” Schroeder.
I am including the link graphic below so you can see the price, since it's a limited time sale. If you grab a copy and like the book, please leave a review on Amazon so the author will be encouraged to write more books.
Have a great Sunday!

Updated to indicate that the limited time promo is over.
